A tornado struck parts of Harris County, Texas, including Houston, on Monday (November 24), causing significant damage to over 100 homes. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado and is set to assess its intensity on Tuesday (November 25). Another potential tornado is being investigated in Austin and Waller counties.
The tornado caused extensive damage in the Memorial Northwest neighborhood, where first responders searched debris for any injured or trapped residents. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman emphasized the priority of resident safety, stating, "We are using every resource available to locate the injured, secure the area, and support our community through this emergency."
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
