FREDERICK, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Frederick police are conducting a death investigation after someone called a local radio show and said they found a body in the woods, according to police and audio shared by the show.
The Frederick Police Department said the body was located in a wooded area off of East Street and Carroll Creek Crossing on Friday.
According to an audio excerpt posted by the Elliot in the Morning Show on Facebook Friday morning, the caller identified themselves as “Joseph” and said they discovered the body 18 days prior, near a campsite.
