Drivers on Route 34 will encounter lane restrictions Wednesday in Carlisle.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the pavement will be patched starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, on Route 34 (Hanover Street), between Walnut Street and Chestnut Avenue.

The work will take several hours. There will be lane restrictions. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. The work may cause delays.
