BOSTON —

Boston police homicide detectives are investigating after a body was recovered from the waters off Castle Island on Tuesday morning.

The Massachusetts Environmental Police located the body around 9:34 a.m.

The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The incident remains under investigation.
