UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries arrested a Farmerville man who is accused of illegally having firearms and hunting violations.
LDWF arrested Jeffry Page, 48, on Nov. 22. Page is accused of illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, hunting deer during illegal hours, hunting deer using illegal weapons, and criminal trespassing.
LDWF said they received a tip about someone deer hunting during illegal hours near Loch Lomond Drive.
According to LDWF, they saw Page climb up a deer stand while wearing camouflage.
LDWF said they contacted Page, who was allegedly found with a .22 caliber rimfire revolver, a .22 caliber rimfire rifle, rattling deer antlers, a deer call, a headlamp, deer scent, and a flashlight.
