Police in Virginia are searching for a high school football coach who has gone missing amid a law enforcement probe and his undefeated team’s ongoing run in the state playoffs.
Travis Turner, the 46-year-old head coach of the Union High School Bears football team in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, has been missing since Nov. 20, according to Virginia State Police records .
The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Turner was last seen in Wise County wearing a gray sweatshirt, sweatpants and glasses, police said. He is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding Turner’s whereabouts is asked to call VSP at 540-444-7788.
