RANKIN COUNTY — Not even three years after he was released from prison, one of the co-conspirators in the death of a Jackson 5-year-old that shook the community to its foundation is going back.
D’Allen Tyrek Washington was released on parole in early February 2022, after serving about 25% of his 15‑year sentence in connection to the Kingston Frazier case.
Washington was sentenced to 20 years in prison as a habitual offender for the sale of methamphetamine, District Attorney John K. “Bubba” Bramlett announced Monday. The sentence carries no possibility of early release or parole.
The case stems from a multi-county investigation in early 2024 by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics into methamphetamine and fentanyl sales in the metro area. Working with undercover officers and confidential
