APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The 54th annual Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade is set to deliver the holiday spirit along College Avenue Tuesday night.
About 80,000 people turn out to watch the parade every year.
It’s the largest night-time parade in the Midwest.
The route runs on E. College Ave. from State to Drew streets starting at 7 p.m.
If you want to save your spot, the city lets you place a blanket or chair starting at noon -- but someone has to stay there to watch them.
Parade organizers ask anyone who’s able to bring nonperishable foods. Lawrence University will be collecting donations along the route for St. Joe’s Food Pantry.
