An 87-year-old motorist died of her injuries following a three-vehicle crash in Cumberland County on Monday afternoon.

Ramona Sansalone, of Minotola, was driving a car southbound on North Lincoln Avenue near Maple Avenue in Vineland around 2 p.m. when her vehicle collided with a pickup truck pulling an 18-foot vehicle transport trailer, according to Vineland police.

The car hit the back of the trailer as the pickup was making a left turn into a driveway, police said.

The impact sent Sansalone’s car into oncoming traffic and her vehicle was struck head-on by a northbound SUV.

Sansalone was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where she later died of her injuries, police said.
