HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Two people were taken to an area hospital after a car crashed into a building in Hagerstown on Monday afternoon.
According to the Hagerstown Fire Department, first responders learned of the crash along Church St. just before 4 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found a car had crashed through the front of a building. It appears the driver had struck several other parked cars before the crash.
One person inside the building was injured in the crash, and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both were taken to Meritus Medical Center as trauma patients.
Officials have not released any information on what happened in the moments leading up to the crash or if the driver will face any charges.
