LIBERTY TWP., MI – A late-night house fire displaced four adults from their home in Liberty Township Tuesday.
Fire crews were called at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, to a home on Thorne Road for a reported structure fire, Liberty Township Fire Chief Brandon Hughes said.
Four adults living in the residence safely evacuated from the home prior to fire crews arriving at the scene, he said.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from the roof on the back of the home, which was quickly contained and knocked out, Hughes said.
Though the fire was contained and the home is still standing, it caused significant damage to the residence making it uninhabitable in its current state, Hughes said.
The four residents were displaced from their home and are being assisted by the American Red
