An 84-year-old woman from Victoria in Australia has been charged in connection with an alleged hit-and-run incident that killed a 6-year-old boy on his way to school

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) named the boy as Caleb Wesley

Wesley was a student at Covenant College in Victoria, and principal Joshua McEwen said in a statement that the school was “devastated” by his death, describing him as “always one of the first to show kindness to others,” per News.com.au
