A mixed-use downtown building located at the intersection of Rep. John L. Lewis Way and Union Street has sold for $7 million via a bid process after the previous owner was foreclosed on.

The address of the seven-story modernist structure, previously called The Five Hundred and One Union Building and later rebranded as Expansive 5th Ave., is 501 Union St.

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the new owner is McCormick 111 LLC, which is which is affiliated with Hunt Valley, Maryland-based Beltway Capital Management. Founded in 2001, Beltway Capital focuses on the acquisition of loans related to commercial and industrial properties.
