While many people take to the road for Thanksgiving travel, about 6 million U.S. travelers are expected to fly domestically this Thanksgiving, according to AAA.

Pittsburgh International Airport is among the major airports with the most on-time departures from August 2024 to July 2025. Between that time period, 85% of the 18,500 flights departed on time. The data puts PIT at the 9th best for departures, just above John Glenn Columbus International and under Cleveland-Hopkins International, both in Ohio.
