The Town Run is a little stream with a big story. Since the fall of 2022, volunteers have worked together to maintain and protect this natural resource that travels three miles from Morgan’s Grove Park through Shepherdstown to the Potomac River. The Stewards of the Town Run Watershed gathered on Oct. 15 for their first Annual Meeting at the Shepherdstown Library to celebrate their accomplishments, recognize volunteers and thank partners.

The meeting kicked off with an ice cream social, featuring homemade ice cream from Amy and Alex’s shop in Shepherdstown.
