Colorado quarterback Julian Lewis will sit out the season finale in order to preserve his redshirt.
CU head coach Deion Sanders said Tuesday that he made the decision to have fifth-year senior Kaidon Salter get the starting nod when the Buffaloes visit Kansas State on Saturday (10 a.m. MT, FS1).
A five-star recruit in the 2025 class, Lewis has played in four games this season, the maximum allowed to maintain a redshirt. If he were to play against the Wildcats, he would give up a year of eligibility.
