ADI Viveash has made two changes to Middlesbrough's starting XI for tonight's top of the table clash against Coventry City.

Matt Targett drops out of the side after injuring his calf at Oxford, but the left-back is fit enough to be on the bench. He's replaced in the side by Sammy Silvera.

Further forward, Riley McGree comes into the side in place of Delano Burgzorg, who drops to the bench.

It's not clear whether Viveash is playing a flat back four with Silvera at left-back or a back three with Alan Browne dropping into the defence. The Sunderland loanee played as a right centre-back in the win over Birmingham after Dael Fry was forced off injured.

Fry and George Edmundson are again both missing for Boro , as is David Strelec. But Sverre Nypan returns to the squad and there's a place
