Santa is set to join firefighters on a magical fire engine tour of County Durham and Darlington this Christmas.

Firefighters from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (CDDFRS) are hosting their yearly 'Santa On Tour' event to bring festive joy to families while raising charity funds.

This three-day event will take place on Monday, December 15, Tuesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 17.

Santa will accompany the firefighters on their fire engine, stopping at various fire stations and supermarkets across the area.

Now in its fifth year, the event has been a big hit in the past, drawing large crowds eager to see Santa before the big day.
