DUNMORE, Pa. — Acrobatics and Tumbling was named an emerging sport in the NCAA in 2020.
Starting in 2026, 47 division 1 schools will compete.
Gracyn Davis out of North Pocono will join Manhattan University's inaugural acro and tumbling team on scholarship after graduation.
"Definitely like, I love like being able to say, yeah, like I'm going for a sport in college, that's all I've ever wanted to say."
The road to get here hasn't been straightforward for Gracyn, who's dealt with multiple gymnastics injuries, causing her to settle on one event: floor.
Tumbling is what she'll compete in for the Jaspers.
