Fans of Stranger Things confessed to feeling "upset" after learning a surprising detail about the much-loved character Eleven, ahead of the show's fifth and final series. Netflix viewers first met the inhabitants of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, back in 2016, with the show quickly becoming a global sensation .

The opening episode is titled Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers, and kicks off on November 6, 1983, with the young boy's disappearance. He's taken away to a dark, perilous alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.
