Thomas Frank must decide whether to stick with a back five against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League .

The Tottenham boss has used the system only twice this season. The first worked well, against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup in August, but a return to the extra defender on Sunday against Arsenal brought a 4-1 defeat.

Frank faced criticism for a particularly negative set-up but he insisted the problem was his side's inability to compete in duels rather than the system.

However, another turgid performance with a back five would pile the pressure on Frank and he could revert to his preferred 4-2-3-1 shape here in an attempt to spark the attack into life.
