Joe Marler was seen enjoying a staycation in the heart of London. The Celebrity Traitors star was catching some rays on a sun lounger and building sandcastles beside the road in Shoreditch.

This follows a study of 2,000 working adults which revealed 76% say a lack of sunshine makes them crave a getaway to warmer climes. Full-time employees experience an average of just one-and-a-half hours of daylight weekly throughout the winter period.

More than a third leave home before 7am and return after 6pm. Consequently, due to the reduced daylight hours, 58% acknowledge they frequently travel to work in darkness and leave their workplace in darkness as well.
