Boulder County Parks and Open Space is hosting its annual public meeting on prairie dog management on open space properties from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 11.
The in-person-only meeting will be held at the Ron Stewart Parks and Open Space Building, 5201 St. Vrain Road, Longmont. County staff members will be available to discuss activities conducted in 2025 and how the department manages prairie dogs on open space properties, including agricultural lands. Public comment is invited. No changes are proposed to the county’s current policy.
