SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man is accused of trying to stab another man to death at an East Side gas station.

A 39-year-old man on the morning of Friday, Nov. 21, visited the Sunoco at 2805 S. Washington Ave. Shortly after 7 a.m., he was in the station’s parking lot when a woman and Donald A. Williams approached him, prosecutors allege.

The woman began arguing with the 39-year-old man about him babysitting her child, prosecutors allege. Williams, 51, ended up punching the younger man and a fight ensued, prosecutors allege.

Williams drew a folding knife and repeatedly stabbed the younger man, causing multiple lacerations, prosecutors contend. Numerous bystanders witnessed the assault, prosecutors allege.
