FORT MYERS, Fla. (WILX) - No. 11 Michigan State men’s basketball remained unbeaten with a dominant 89-59 victory over East Carolina in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.
MSU shot 51% from the field and made 13 of its 28 three-point attempts. Jaxon Kohler and Divine Ugochukwu led Michigan State in scoring with 16 points. Kohler also grabbed 8 rebounds for MSU.
Coen Carr finished with 13 points and three assists. Carson Cooper also totaled up double-digit points with 10 and collected eight rebounds. Jeremy Fears Jr. continues to keep racking up assists with nine and also supplied six points.
Okemos native Brennan Walton also scored his first collegiate points at the end of the game for MSU.
Michigan State will next play No. 16 North Carolina at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving on FOX.
