MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WKOW) — A longtime vendor at American Family Field is dropping his bid for governor.
Ryan Strnad , a Democrat, announced his campaign for governor in August. On Tuesday, he released a statement stating his plans to drop out and endorse Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, according to a report from WISN 12 News' Matt Smith .
Strnad has a long history of involvement at American Family Field and County Stadium, where he has been active in union work and founded a political action committee, Drinks In The Seats. He began working in stadiums in 1988 at the age of 16.
In a statement, Strnad said, "I want to thank every person who supported this campaign. I ran to give working class families a voice and to deliver results for communities that have long been overlooked
