Lakers' 3-time champion Rick Fox announces next off-court goal
Rick Fox did a lot of winning in his NBA career.
He's hoping to add some winning to his post-playing career, too.
The former Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers forward announced on Facebook this week that he'll be running for a seat in the Bahamas' House of Assembly.
"As a candidate and as a leader for the Bahamas I will demand transparency, honesty, integrity while demanding a level of excellence from all of us," Fox wrote .
Fox played 13 seasons in the NBA, winning three championship rings with the Lakers.
The Celtics chose him 24th overall in the 1991 NBA Draft out of North Carolina.
With Boston, Fox played six years and averaged 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals pe
