Florida Association of Community Health Centers taps USF leader as new director of health center operations

The Florida Association of Community Health Centers has hired Dr. Anna Armstrong as its new Director of Community Health Center Operations.

Armstrong previously served as an Associate Professor of Health Promotion and Behavior at the University of South Florida, where she also held a number of key leadership positions, including Director of Master of Public Health Foundational Core, Co-Director of Master’s programs and lead of the Health Promotion and Behavior concentration.

As Director of Community Health Center Operations, Armstrong will lead efforts to maintain the organization’s status as the state’s Primary Care Association and provide necessary training and technical support to Community Health Center members.
