EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that injured a woman and temporarily closed Coburg Road on Monday evening, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said they responded at 8:38 p.m. on Nov. 24 to reports of a woman laying in the roadway on Coburg Road between Cal Young Road and Willakenzie Road. The woman appeared to have been struck by a vehicle that was no longer at the scene, police said. Authorities said that the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment. EPD’s Major Collision Investigation team was deployed to the scene and the crash is under investigation, police officials said.
