Another immigration enforcement operation took place in St. Paul early Tuesday afternoon, with protesters gathering at the scene and clashing with both federal agents and local police.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the nature of the operation, which appeared to target a residence on the 600 block of Rose Avenue East in the city’s Payne-Phalen neighborhood.

KARE 11 reports that at least one activist was "taken to the ground and arrested," and at least one person was seen detained by federal agents and led away from the home.

St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter told reporters at the scene that local police did use chemical munitions.
