TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Border Patrol is reporting a drug bust near Nogales.

The Border Patrol says agents found 160 pounds of meth in several abandoned bags.

The Border Patrol says the drugs were packaged in small cellophane bundles and were found during a search of an area known for smuggler activity.

The meth was transported to the Nogales Border Patrol Station, confirmed by chemical testing, and subsequently transferred to the DEA for destruction.

No arrests were made in connection with this seizure.
