OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One of three Omaha men accused of a North Omaha murder was sentenced in court on Tuesday.

Warren Muse, 26, was sentenced to 38-40 years in prison after previously changing his not guilty plea to no contest. He was given credit of 600 days for time served and convicted of accessory to murder and accessory to using a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

The homicide happened in May, 2024 at 24th and Ohio Streets. Investigators say Artrell Evans, 30, was gunned down in his vehicle when an SUV pulled up next to him in the wrong lane on Ohio Street. Video captured 19 muzzle flashes from two guns firing from the SUV’s passenger side into the vehicle Evans was driving, according to prosecutors.
