GRAND FORKS COUNTY — A Fargo man waived his Monday, Nov. 24, preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to methamphetamine and marijuana crimes he was charged with after being pulled over while driving on the highway in Grand Forks County.
Ronald Allen Ellis, 61, is charged with Class A felony possession of at least 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, Class C felony marijuana possession with intent to deliver, Class C felony unlawful schedule II controlled substance paraphernalia possession and an infraction for unlawful possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
The Class A felony has a maximum 20-year sentence.
At 11:23 a.m. Oct. 16, a trooper running stationary patrol in the median on Highway 2 ran Ellis' vehicle plate while he was traveling westbound near mile marker 340
