BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Mike Riggens is the next Parks, Recreation and Facilities Director, the City of Bryan announced Tuesday afternoon.

Riggens will officially start on Dec. 1.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in parks and recreation, including 19 years as Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Conroe.

“Mike brings a deep understanding of parks, recreation and facility management, and he has shown a commitment to developing staff and building strong teams,” Deputy City Manager Hugh Walker said. “He will be an excellent addition to our organization and will help continue the momentum the department has already built.”
