As Circle Centre Mall retail businesses receive notices that their leases will be terminated by year's end ahead of the downtown staple's extensive renovation, one tenant could get the boot even earlier.
Hendricks Commercial Properties, the Wisconsin-based property management company that bought Circle Centre in early 2024, has taken legal action to evict Punch Bowl Social from its location at 120 S. Meridian St. The mall owners said in a lawsuit filed last week in Marion Circuit Court that the operator of Punch Bowl owes Hendricks at least $669,115.75.
