CONCORD, N.H. —
A woman has been arrested in Maine and charged in connection with the death of her 88-year-old mother-in-law in Exeter, New Hampshire.
The Attorney General's Office said Danielle Kelsen, 55, was charged with second-degree murder.
Her mother-in-law, Janet Kelsen, was found dead in February in an Exeter apartment building.
WMUR's News 9 Investigates reported at the time that her death was originally investigated as a possible accident, but investigators later determined that her injuries were not consistent with a fall.
Few details have been released, but Danielle Kelsen is accused of recklessly causing Janet Kelsen's death by "manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by inflicting blunt head trauma."
