I’ve heard a rumor that canned cranberry sauce has attracted some haters. While I fully respect other folks’ opinions, I’m concerned congealed cranberries might feel neglected or develop a case of low shelf-esteem. Shake it off, my little jellied fruit dish. There is hope.

For me, the trend of making sure everything on the table is “organic” or “elevated cuisine” is a bit showy. Like those high-falutin’ bowls of freshly squished cranberries mixed with dried figs and candied orange peels or topped with pecans . Really? That’s just putting on airs, if you ask me, and might make people too big for their britches in more ways than one.
