Alabama football will be without its top tight end for the most important game of the season. The Crimson Tide ruled out tight end Josh Cuevas on Wednesday, in the first SEC availability report ahead of the Iron Bowl against Auburn.

Cuavas missed the Tide’s last game as well, a 56-0 victory over Eastern Illinois. He sustained an injury during practice in the week leading up to the win against the Panthers.

On Monday, DeBoer said Cuevas’ status was up in the air, but noted the tight ends that Alabama got in the game vs. EIU.
