ESPN’s Adam Schefter was flagged by X/Twitter for sharing a post about the postgame brawl between San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings and Carolina Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig, with the networking service calling it a post about “violence.”

After the 49ers defeated the Panthers on ‘Monday Night Football’, ESPN cameras cut to Jauan Jennings throwing a punch at Tre’von Moehrig in the postgame handshakes. As it turned out, Jennings was merely retaliating after receiving a low blow from Moehrig during the game.

On Tuesday morning, Adam Schefter posted a video of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan defending Jennings’ actions. Shanahan said he was “proud of” the veteran wideout.
