NEW YORK (WBNG) -- Mothers Against Drunk Driving is urging people to pledge not to get behind the wheel this Thanksgiving if they plan on drinking.
About 35% of all fatal crashes during the Thanksgiving holiday period in 2023 were caused by a drunk driver.
Ambassadors with the organization said it is important to have a plan in place if you are going to be drinking for the holiday, calling it a life-or-death decision.
