HORN LAKE, Miss. (WMC) - A 25-year-old man is behind bars, accused of making a bomb threat to Horn Lake High School.

Police say the threat was called in on November 13.

Days later, officers discovered four businesses that had been vandalized with spray paint and a dumpster that had been set on fire.

Investigators say Judah Hamp was identified as the suspects in the vandalisms. He was arrested on November 21 for felony malicious mischief and arson.

Hamp’s cell phone was collected as evidence, and investigators were able to determine that the 911 call was made from his phone, tying him to the bomb threat at the high school.

Hamp was additionally charged with false bomb threat.

He is at DeSoto County Jail on a $145,000 bond.
