Love and support is pouring in for Sir Richard Branson and his family following the death of his wife Joan Templeman .

On Tuesday, Nov. 25, the Virgin Group co-founder announced that his wife died at 80 years old .

“Heartbroken to share that Joan, my wife and partner for 50 years, has passed away,” the businessman, 75, wrote on Instagram . “She was the most wonderful mum and grandmum our kids and grandkids could have ever asked for. She was my best friend, my rock, my guiding light, my world.”
