SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A new billboard went up in Sioux City this week.
This marks the third one since July of this year to go up for Lori Ann DeCora.
Lori Ann DeCora was stabbed to death in 1992, and no one has ever been convicted for her murder. Something their family says needs to change.
At the beginning of 2025, Lori’s daughter, Kayla Buffalo Chief-Sirom, decided to bring her case back to light and begin advocating for justice.
In March, the family held a vigil and launched the “Voices for Lori” campaign
In June, they held a silent auction to raise funds for a billboard
In July, the billboard went up along Sioux City’s Gordon Drive,
In August, a memorial ceremony was held for what would’ve been her 58th birthday
In October, the billboard was moved along I-29 in North Sioux C
