OMAHA, Neb. —

Rep. Don Bacon came to 7 Burlington Station on Tuesday, entering his speech on our very own Rob McCartney into Congressional Record as part of his upcoming retirement.

Bacon said McCartney is an Omaha fixture.

"He's the guy in the news. We have floods, tornadoes, shootings. I mean, if something traumatic's going on, Rob's there, right? So whenever I see Rob, I get worried, right? No, but he's been wonderful. You've won a great news team," Bacon said.
