LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police were called to a report of gunshots in northeast Lincoln on Tuesday. The shots were reported near Huntington Avenue and North 43rd Street at 4:11 a.m.
According to LPD, a witness reported they had heard the sound of a disturbance before an unknown person said they were going to get a weapon. A short time later, a person was heard running and a series of suspected gunshots were heard, the witness told officers.
Police later found another person who said they had been shot at.
LPD said officers did recover evidence suggesting a gun had been fired. No injuries were reported.
