(WNDU) - Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) says it is monitoring forecasts and preparing for potential inclement weather through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
According to I&M, strong wind gusts of 45-50 mph are expected Wednesday across its service area, with accumulating snowfall expected in southwest Michigan and north central Indiana.
In turn, I&M says it is prepared to safely and quickly respond if outages happen in our communities.
In the meantime, you’re encouraged to prepare ahead of the potential weather. I&M officials suggest you make sure your phone is charged and make sure you have batteries, water and medications on hand.
