Black and gold was everywhere around PNC Park on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, as the Pirates, Penguins and Steelers combined to host the fifth annual #BurghProud Thanksgiving meal distribution event.

In partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and supported by Giant Eagle, staffers from the three teams spent the afternoon handing out turkey, produce, apple pie, Giant Eagle gift cards and team-branded surprises.

"I think it’s cool when all three teams come together," said Penguins defenseman Ryan Shea, who was handing out food in the Mazeroski Way cul-de-sac. “It cheers me up, and hopefully it cheers up the people getting the food.”

The three teams distributed enough to feed more than 300 families.
