COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after one person was killed in a Tuesday crash on Garners Ferry Road near the Trotter Road intersection.

Highway Patrol said that a 2023 Kenworth tractor-trailer was stopped in traffic when a 2013 Ford F-250 rear-ended it around 6:25 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the Ford F-250 was pronounced dead on the scene, while the other driver was taken by EMS to a local hospital for their injuries

The crash is still being investigated by Highway Patrol.
