Four felony charges have been filed against a Boonville man who was arrested Monday afternoon.
According to court records, Dorian Gardner was charged by the Cooper County Prosecutor's Office with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to previous KOMU 8 reporting , Boonville p olice were dispatched to the area of Sixth Street and Locust Street for a report of shots fired just before 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Court documents said Gardner was taken into custody as the man suspected of firing a gun at that time and location.
Court documents said Gardner's pregnant girlfriend told police the two of them were driving in a vehicle and in the middle of an argument.
