AMHERST, Mass. — Austyn Dendy’s three-touchdown performance helped the Bowling Green State University football team snap a five-game losing streak Tuesday as the Falcons routed winless Massachusetts 45-14 to finish the regular season.

Bowling Green finishes its first season under head coach Eddie George with an overall record of 4-8 and a 2-6 mark in the Mid-American Conference.

Dendy ran for 115 yards and two scores, and added an 11-yard touchdown catch to lead BG’s offense.

The Falcons only attempted nine passes in the victory, as the ground game dominated to the tune of 278 yards on 5.8 yards per carry.

Quarterback Hunter Najm was efficient when called upon, going 7-for-9 for 128 yards and three touchdowns.
